A short comic inspired by ‘Big Yellow Taxi’ by Joni Mitchell (1969). Big Yellow Taxi is a song about how people take nature for granted. Mitchell shared that the inspiration for the song came from her own experience in Hawaii, where instead of the scenic beauty she anticipated, she was greeted by vast parking lots, highlighting the destructive impact of human actions on the environment. One challenge I faced while doing this project was trying to include entire narrative within certain page limit.
